Is it against the rule? I mean delrin is supposed to be self lubricating, but I may just be too old fashioned, and would feel more comfortable not having that bad feeling of fast spinning metal heating the plastic and melting it.

Can I use lithium grease? Other discussions say nothing can really harm delrin.

Most lubricants will probably work OK with Delrin, that said, lubrication shouldn't be necessary once the thread breaks in.
