That's essentially what the sign shops use to make vinyl lettering to put on vehicles, store windows, etc. I'm sure the scrapbookers would love it too.

How about a nibbler? You could cut shapes from sheet metal then.

Of course a laser, if you could afford one.

A star wheel, to punch lines of holes in paper for templates. Lay your punched paper against a surface, then pounce some fine powder over the holes to leave your pattern on the surface.

A scriber, to scratch layout lines in metal parts for milling on more powerful machines.

A plasma torch! To cut parts from sheet metal or plate.

A MIG welder head, for automated welding. Limited application perhaps, but possibly useful.
